Salicornia

Salicornia, both the room and the dish, can help you spend a relaxing, peaceful holiday amongst beautiful greenery. In fact, Salicornia is a green, annual plant that turns red in the autumn. The part that can be eaten is picked from April to June and is used to make salads.

Sandalo

Spend your holiday in the room named 'sandalo', after the popular lagoon boat with oars, for an unforgettable, unique experience. This boat was used as a means to transport goods and people, for fishing, and for sporting competitions. The word 'sandalo' comes from the Latin 'sandalium', a type of flat shoe.

Ghebo

A Ghebo is a type of small canal that crosses the barene, connecting the inner areas (lakes) to the main waterways. This room is decorated in colours inspired by water, for a relaxing stay in a magical Venetian atmosphere.

Garzetta

This room is painted in soft colours to match the 'garzetta', the little egret, a small, 50-60 cm, type of white heron that lives in damp conditions. The little egret typically fishes for minnows in very shallow water, and also feeds on larvae and crustaceans.

Airone Cenerino

The 'Airone Cenerino', grey heron, is a winged animal of considerable size that achieves a 90-98 cm adult stature. Its plumage is grey on top and white at the bottom. The heron can reach up to 24 years of age. Staying overnight in this room will immerse you in the calm of the lagoon.

Tamericio

For a holiday that puts you in touch with nature, but is not lacking in comfort, choose the welcoming and relaxing 'Tamericio' room. 'Tamericio', tamerisk, is the most common plant on Italian coastlines with pink or green flowers that bloom in springtime.

Germano Reale

The 'Germano Reale', mallard, is the most loved and hunted duck in the world. The male has a green head, pearl-grey sides and a white belly. The female is brownish-grey. The ducks are bred naturally at our farm and cooked in stews with polenta or roasted.

Barena

This studio apartment has a relaxed atmosphere for a peaceful night's sleep. The name 'barena' derives from the Venetian 'baro', a bush or tuft of grass growing on land that is periodically flooded by tides.
